PHYSICAL

The UC needs to balance its life by understanding that the physical world is spiritual too. Father says we are grow twelve trees a year and live outside of cities in a rural setting. He is not saying we are to live gaudy materialistic lives, but he is also not for us to live like St. Francis either.

Our bodies are temples

One of the most neglected areas of the UC is in its understanding of nutrition and how important it is to be fit and trim. We should be the healthiest people in the world. To be happy and successful we need to be physically fit. We need to exercise. Diet plays a large part in health. For many years there has been a revolution in nutrition. Nathan Pritikin started the low-fat diet. America and the UC eat high fat food. America and the UC have a lot of unhealthy and obese people. Other writers on nutrition are Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Dean Ornish who also teach the value of a low-fat high carbohydrate diet. John McDougall in The McDougall Program says,"Among the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Malaysians -- in their homelands, that is -- obesity is almost unknown. The reason for this lies in their diet: Their main food is starchy plant. You will consistently find that the diets of people who remain slim throughout life are centered around rice, or wheat, or potatoes, or corn, or beans, and other starchy vegetables. Their diets will also provide plenty of fruits and vegetables, but very little (if any) fatty meats and dairy products. And yet, when slender Chinese or Japanese move to San Francisco or New York or your hometown in America, they soon look very American indeed. Obesity is not genetic; it's the result of exchanging a starch-based diet for rich, fattening foods." He goes on to explain that it can work in reverse and many have become thin again by eating low-fat food.

One of the best foods is fish, especially those high in Omega 3. Once again Father does the right thing in focusing on fish. There are so many good books on this topic. Heart disease is the greatest killer of men in America and so many wives are not doing their job of keeping their husbands healthy. The UC should be the healthiest, trimmest, fittest people in the world.

There has been a tremendous increase in knowledge on nutrition in the last few decades. Nutritionists say we need to cut down on fat, especially bad fats. There is a lot of controversy about red meat and dairy. One of the most powerful videos I have ever watched is by John Robbins who was heir to the Baskins-Robbins empire of ice cream stores. He wrote a book and named his video the same called Diet for a New America. The video was at my library, and it is one of the best I've ever seen. If only the UC had videos that are as clear and well-done as the one he made. He shows how products from cows are so dangerous to the health. What is even more eye opening is how cows are damaging to the earth. (Also check out at the library Nova's video on soil erosion called Down on the Farm) The world needs to cut back drastically on meat and dairy just to be ecological. Cows are so inefficient and in the huge numbers they are now ruining our land and waterways. To be successful the UC needs to make powerful videos like this one on every area of life giving God's viewpoint. Videos are how people learn. I plan on making videos on this book and other topics. Few will read this book. Almost every member will watch my videos. What a great day it will be when UC headquarters makes great videos and puts them in every library and advertises everywhere for people to go see them.

One idea that you might try is what we have started to do in our home. We will not allow any high-fat food in our house. Sugar is a tough one. We have decided that its just too much to not have it. It seems to be in everything anyway. Even catsup! We generally keep it out of the house. The only meat we have is fish and chicken breasts. I was reading in a magazine for vegetarians and saw a letter from a woman who had written in that her cat was vegetarian. She said she fed it only plant food, and the cat was doing great. Later someone wrote a letter back saying that her cat was probably eating birds when it left the house. As hard as we tried to be vegetarians (This was many years ago. We've experimented with many diets), we kept eating meat when we were out. Eventually we decided we were"vegetarian cats." We have told our children that they can be vegetarian cats and eat at McDonalds if they want. This world is run by Satan so everything is turned upside down. People eat a meat centered diet instead of plant food. They eat processed grain instead of whole grain (white vs. brown rice), and they eat high fat instead of low fat foods. By balancing our home with extreme low fat with the outside world's high fat, our children are eating better. Magazines like Time are always having cover stories of how too many kids are obese and this causes everything from low-self esteem to dangerous diseases, even cancer. Speaking of cancer, a low-fat diet that some have used to reverse cancer is the macrobiotic diet. There are many books and cookbooks on this diet.

In Save-Your-Life-Diet High Fiber Cook Book, David and Barbara Reuben correctly push for more fiber in our diet. The 20th century has corrupted food by processing it and taking out nutrients and fiber. The result has been tremendous suffering and death. Satan has worked with a vengeance in this century to kill and hurt as many people as he could. He teaches what is false. Fast food is deadly, but the images of McDonalds are wholesome families having fun. Burger King's sandwiches are around 40 grams of fat which is enough fat for two or three days! When you add fries and milk shakes it is truly obscene. Never eat at fast food restaurants. Not only are they high in fat, but the fat is a bad fat as opposed to better types of fat such as olive oil. Also they are low in fiber. The Reubens say"In modern America we seem to have lost the instinct for self-preservation." They say the Vietnam war killed 50,000 Americans, automobile accidents kill 50,000 every year, narcotics kill 10,000 a year and we make some effort to correct these deaths,"But in our society the greatest single threat to survival for the average person is breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Over one million Americans each year meet an untimely death directly as a result of the food they eat. And nobody seems to care. The undeniable facts are there for everyone to see. In the past seventy-five years (their book was written in the 70s) -- since the traditional high-roughage diet has been replaced by the 'modern' high prestige low-roughage 'convenience' diet -- new diseases have sprung up to devastate our society. Here is a small part of the evidence:

Fatal heart attacks 1900: virtually unknown 1975: 750,000 deaths

Cancer of the Colon 1900: insignificant incidence 1975: 99,000 cases

The twentieth century has been a disaster worse than any before. Satan has done everything he could to kill us or make us sick. He took bread, and, as the Reubens say, turned it into"the white puffy gloopy batter-whipped junk that clogs our intestines of our children" into an"entirely different substance. It is synthesized from what is left of the grain of wheat after everything worthwhile is removed -- wheat germ, bran, and most of the vitamins and minerals. The starchy powder that remains is mixed with chemicals that no one in his right mind would swallow if he had a choice. That includes things like calcium bromate, sodium stearyl fumarate, and tricalcium phosphate, to name only a few. As a touching gesture, federal law requires bakers to add 5 hard-to-absorb synthetic vitamins to replace the 24 or so nutrients removed in the milling process."

The Reubens incorrectly feel the FDA should regulate and somehow protect us better, but as I'll explain in later chapters that is not how to help people. We do it by persuading others as the Reubens are doing in their book and I'm doing in this. Government is force, and it is not a success principle to force people to eat right. They go on to say,"Hundreds of responsible scientists and medical researchers agree on one undeniable point: the greatest single cause of cancer in America today is the methodical debasement of the basic elements of our diet. Over one million lives could be saved each year at absolutely no cost by simply leaving the natural roughage in our food and removing every artificial additive." They say Americans"eat, on the average, twenty-two pounds of artificial chemicals in their food each year" and they are linked with cancer. They debunk the myth that stress causes cancer. It is mainly diet. They explain how the Seventh-Day Adventists suffer from the same stress as everyone else but because they eat a high-fiber diet and few food additives they have"much lower incidences of cancer and heart attacks." They implore everyone"to reproduce the diet that Americans consumed a hundred years ago -- before 750,000 of us perished each year from heart attacks, before one of us succumbed to colon cancer every ten minutes by the clock, before seventy percent of those who collect Social Security also collect diverticulosis, before over half of us had our bodies bloated by ugly fat."

An interesting book on how to feed children is Dr. Attwood's Low-Fat Prescription for Kids. Dr. Benjamin Spock, this centuries most famous children's doctor, writes the Foreward. He says,"This book's message is that the only way to combat our country's shockingly high death rates for coronary heart disease, stroke, and cancer in adulthood is to adopt a low-fat diet beginning in childhood." He explains he eats a low-fat diet also.

Dr. Attwood says when he uses the word"diet" he doesn't mean short-term eating changes but a permanent life-style change. Children are being hurt by eating the Standard American Diet (SAD). He argues that habits formed in childhood make it difficult to stop in adulthood. After eating high fat food for generations in the 20th century, adults are dropping like flies from heart attacks. He says,"The fact is, 1.5 million adults will have heart attacks each year -- and 500,000 of them will die. ... The first place we should look for life-shortening behaviors is the eating habits of our children. Most people are surprised to learn just how many of our adult diseases are related to what we eat throughout our early and middle years. Of the ten leading causes of death in the United States only three are not related to what we eat or drink."

"Physicians, like myself, who practice preventive medicine believe that more than 95% of coronary-artery disease can be prevented by meaningful reductions in dietary fat if implemented early in life. This condition is based on the near absence of this disease in areas of the world where a very low-fat diet is consumed throughout life."

He says Asia has the best diet in the world. He says that coronary-heart disease is not only the risk from high-fat food but many cancers are also linked to food:"Among all the cancers, those of the prostrate and breast may be the most likely to stem from children's eating habits." He goes on to give scientific proof of this. He makes a convincing case. The Satans in this picture are the Beef Industry Council and the National Dairy Council. He says they are liars who deceive everyone with the false teachings that milk, cheese and red meat are healthful. I agree. This doctor is vegetarian. The UC is not, but we should cut down drastically on animal products. I advocate the total elimination of anything from a cow. Dr. Suzanne Oparil, the president of the American Heart Association says,"Forty million American children have abnormally high cholesterol levels." Attwood advocates a diet of 10-15% fat and a cholesterol level of less than 150 for adults and children. He doesn't believe children need more fat than adults.

Like all the books on low-fat diets he mentions the Framingham Study done by Dr. Castelli which studied heart disease in Framingham, Massachusetts for the past 45 years. He told Attwood,"We've never had a heart attack in Framingham in anyone with a cholesterol level under 150."

"This strong and unconditional statement is reassuring to those of us who have devoted our professional lives to teaching people that a low-fat, high-fiber diet consisting of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes (beans)-- a necessity for most individuals to reduce their cholesterol level to 150 or below -- is especially effective when initiated during childhood, before the fat habit is established."

He says,"During an interview by Dr. Neal Barnard, for his book The Power of Your Plate, Dr. Castelli said that this diet 'is consumed by three-quarters of the people who live on the earth who never have a heart attack. They live outside the big cities and their cholesterol levels are 150 or below.' Castelli said that in our own country vegetarian men outlive meat-eaters by about six years."

"Dr. Castelli added later in a McCall's interview,"Of the 5.3 billion people in the world, 4 billion virtually never have arteriosclerosis or colon cancer. These 4 billion people have one thing in common: They eat a low- or no-meat diet that's also very low in saturated fat, about 12 to 15 grams of total fat a day, as opposed to the 40 grams that are eaten daily in the United States."

He says that obesity is a modern phenomenon. It is a theme of this book that everything went completely to hell in the 20th century. This doctor says the same thing you will hear many times in this book. In the early part of the 20th century, around the time Father was born, Satan introduced every conceivable false ideology imaginable. One of his most successful was to have everyone center their diets on cows that destroy not only our bodies but our land and then to take the heart out of wheat and rice and make them white. Physically he took character out of wheat. The Bible talks of the chaff of wheat. Spiritually he took character out of 20th century life. All good social critics are advocating a return to many of the values of our ancestors. Please don't misunderstand me or them and think we are saying everything was perfect a century ago. There have been some advances in this century, and the UC has some fundamental truths to take people to the completion stage and then perfection, but there is so much truth already known and much of it has been thrown out in this century. He says,"It was not until the early twentieth century that the decrease in activity and the increase in fat consumption began to reach their unhealthy levels of today. Since 1900, the pattern of food consumption in the United States has changed drastically." And for the worse. Children, he says, get more of their calories from meat and dairy than other sources. Everything is upside down. Satan is attacking us and winning. He has no compassion for anyone, even children.

Atwood has an interesting illustration showing how fat America is. He says that Yankee Stadium was renovated 50 years after its construction in the 1920s and they had to put in fewer seats because they had to put in seats with bigger bottoms. Those seats look like today's children's seats."Classroom desks manufactured during the 1940s are hardly adequate for today's grade-school children." He teaches many good things in his book. I encourage you to read this book and others on nutrition. Father has told us to be superior than the outside world. We have to be superior to the Seventh-Day Adventists who are documented to be the healthiest group in America. Let's see the UC be number one instead. Let's lead this world in physical health as well as spiritual health. Let's be humble to these teachers and do things like Attwood teaches and not associate high-fat food with birthdays. He says"a 3-year-old American child has learned that cake and ice cream, not broccoli and carrots, are birthday-party foods. On the other hand, parents use fatty foods to 'bribe' children to eat their vegetables. This enhances the development of fat taste. Why, do you suppose, a 6-year-old American child savors the taste of a hamburger but a child in India is repulsed by it?"

Because we are so drugged out on high-fat food , eating low-fat food seems boring, and we feel we are not enjoying life. But real health brings more happiness than drugs. Zig Ziglar was fat and in his book he says he changed his diet and started jogging and then became trim and has kept that way since. He jokes by saying that the first day he ran he got as far as the neighbor's mailbox. Months later he was jogging and he realized how wonderful he felt being healthy. He needed less sleep, could think better and was emotionally calmer. To help teach his point he says would the owner of a million dollar race horse feed his horse junk food? Of course not. It would receive food that would give him the best health. He asks how much is your body is worth? He says would you put kerosene in the gas tank of your car? If you did it would not run well. We don't run well on bad food. Drugs are a phony high. Fallen man thinks as Mark Twain quipped, "The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not." We can change our taste by studying books on proper diet and low-fat cookbooks that are increasing everyday because the truth can't be stopped and more and more people are turning to low-fat diets. Dr. Jay Gordon has a video that focuses on kids eating low-fat. On one of his paperbacks he has the movie stars Danny DeVito and Michael J. Fox endorse the book saying they have their children on this diet. (By the way I hope you will endorse my book. Send me a letter praising it, and I may put your endorsement in future publications. If you don't like it , please write anyway. Enlighten me. I'm all ears!)

He explains in his book that what is considered moderation is really extreme. And people are wrong to think that to eat around 10 to 15 grams of fat a day is extreme. Satan has brainwashed everyone from diet to religion, from politics to architecture to his truth which is the way of death and suffering. Every chapter of this book will present an idea or ideas that seem"extreme." This is natural because they are from God. God doesn't rule this earth anymore than Jesus did or Sun Myung Moon does. In the battle for ideas Satan usually wins. He has won big time with food. He depletes the soil, poisons the crops, processes the food and focuses Americans on products from cows. What everyone considers normal and fun is really poison. The kingdom of heaven is a safe place. Satan creates a dangerous world.

Attwood's says,"I suggest that food containing excessive fat be taxed like cigarettes and alcohol. For example, any food with a per-serving fat content exceeding 4 grams would fall under the 'high-fat tax.' Admit it; it 's a good idea. Not all fat, just excess fat. I say this because health statistics clearly show that excessive dietary fat causes more deaths and costs more in health care than tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drugs combined." I will not admit this is a good idea. I am a libertarian and against using force to make people do right. It is so easy for this century to use force against people. Everyone seems addicted to force. Father is beaten by Japanese as a youth, tortured by Koreans as an adult and forced to go to jail in America because government which has a monopoly of force thinks he is hurting people. I think the dairy industry is hurting us. I think Playboy magazine hurts people. I think Christian ministers should give up the their superstitious beliefs that Jesus had no physical father, will come down on the clouds and take just them and their friends up to heaven while the rest of us spend eternity screaming in pain as we burn in hell. I think everyone should bow down and follow Sun Myung Moon. Because I'm right doesn't give me the right to force them at gunpoint to do or believe these things. Governments and deprogrammers think they have the right to force people to their senses. I don't. Later, in the chapter on power, I'll go into this more deeply.

Read the book Bodystat

Out of all the books on nutrition the best one to begin with is Bodystat: How to Reset Your Fat Thermostat Permanently. Eric Witt and Carol Wirth write,"Diets don't work. Focusing only on the psychological aspects of eating doesn't work." They say we should eat a low-fat diet that is between 10 and 20% fat and exercise regularly. They write in a way that is clear for anyone to understand, and they have some of the best insights on how to change to this new lifestyle. They begin by telling the story of a friend, Lori, who did as they did and became thin and happy. Lori told them at the beginning,"I've been on the pineapple diet and the Beverly Hills diet, I've used metabolic-breakthrough plans and endocrine-control plans. They all worked, for a while. Then it was as if I just couldn't help myself. No matter how hard I tried, the weight came back, every time." They go into explaining how our bodies have a set-point and that we have to change it so it burns up excess fat. Americans have their set point wrong because they constantly eat high-fat food and don't exercise. When anyone eats low-fat and does moderate exercise, even walking or climbing a few stairs everyday instead of taking the elevator or parking the car far enough away from the mall so you walk a little bit, their body will reset itself and become thin. They explain that you don't have to count calories or grams of fat, just know the right kinds of food to eat. They explain that there is a growth period. It may take 6 to 12 months to become healthy. The biggest problem people have is being patient. Their book helps you to understand what is going on and tips on how to be patient. One tip is to throw out the bathroom scale. It is psychologically damaging and unnecessary.

They recommend some books at the end such as Eat More, Weigh Less by Dean Ornish. One of the comments the authors of Bodystat make for The Fit or Fat Target Diet by Covert Bailey is that Bailey:"has probably done more than anyone else in America to promote exercise." But they say,"Oddly enough, he misses the boat on the effect of low-fat diet in reducing body fat -- he flatly states, '...you still have to decrease calorie intake for effective fat loss.' Say it ain't so, Covert! Oh well, this book was written before much solid information was available on the effects of low-fat diet on body fat, so we suppose he can be forgiven. Except for that one glitch, this is one of the best books around on the how-to and why-to of low-fat eating."

Pritikin

"The Pritikin Permanent Weight Loss Manual by Nathan Pritikin. The McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss by John McDougall. The New Fit or Fat, by Covert Bailey."This revised edition of his classic, Fit or Fat?, is probably the best book on exercise, fat, and muscle. It is certainly the funniest and easiest to read .... He has a (somewhat muddled) chapter on set-point theory, and almost no mention of the effect of fat in the diet on body fat. But, for the exercise part of resetting your set point, this book is great! Highly, highly recommended."

On Food for Life, by Neal Barnard the authors of Bodystat write:"All around, this is probably the best book currently available on the benefits of low-fat diet and how to change over."

On The 10% Solution for a Healthy Life they give a warning:"There is a chapter on weight control in which caloric intake levels are recommended. Ignore it. Again, don't count calories."

The Pritikin Promise, by Nathan Pritikin. Also by Pritikin, The Official Pritikin Guide to Restaurant Eating. The McDougall Plan, by John McDougall. They give some recipe books. I'll let you get their book and see their recommendations.

Again, I can't emphasize how the book Bodystat is the best book on nutrition and exercise. Everyone should read it and do as they teach. If you can't buy it, then run to the library and check it out.

Like everything in this world, there are a smorgasbord of ideas out there to choose from. I've read some of the books against eating high carbohydrate, low-fat food, and they seem to have interesting ideas. For all I know they could be right. I'm no expert on nutrition. And all the experts disagree! Just in case I'm wrong, you might want to study books that call for more fat and reduced carbohydrates. Ann Gittleman is one of the more interesting ones. Her most popular book is Beyond Pritikin. She used to work for Pritikin as head of his retreat and now rejects him. She advocates eating flaxseed oil and expeller pressed safflower oil straight. She believes that too many carbohydrates causes everything from weight gain to dry skin. And too many carbohydrates are dangerous because they have a high glycemic index that cause havoc with insulin in the body. This doesn't sound scientific but I just can't see mankind for billions of years taking teaspoons of flaxseed oil every day. Eating should be simple. The plan in Bodystat seems logical and unintellectual. Later if I find out it is wrong I'll rewrite this section. I can't imagine I would change my mind about anything else in this book, but knowledge in nutrition is only a few years old. Everything else I write about are principles that have been around for a long time and shown to be true.

How to Help Your Husband Get Ahead

Mrs. Dale Carnegie wrote a book in 1959 called How to Help Your Husband Get Ahead. America has changed drastically since the fifties. Unfortunately now women study Dale Carnegie to achieve in the marketplace. Mrs. Carnegie gives pointers to women to create a home where the man is taken care of and can be nourished physically and spiritually. Her husband's book, How to Win Friends and Influence People, is still a best-seller. Her book is not only out of print but would be seen as a throwback to the dark ages. That is too bad. Instead of women studying him, they should study her. She has a chapter on cooking in which she explains how the wife literally has the power of life and death over her husband: "Many a half-starved Chinese coolie has a greater life expectancy than your husband -- if your husband is overweight." I would add that we know more about nutrition than she did back then and now we know that many people who look thin are sometimes unhealthier than obviously obese people. She goes to quote a doctor saying, "In spite of wars, more white people die by knife and fork than by gun and sword." She says, "We cannot deny responsibility for our husbands waistlines. A man eats what his wife sets before him. The better the cook, the bigger the waistline. When we whip up those super-special desserts and ply him constantly with pecan pies and fluffy cakes, he wouldn't be human if he said 'no.'"

The title of her chapter on health is "His Life Is in Your Hands." She writes, "Want to know how to kill your husband -- and get away with it? Don't bother with cyanide, blunt instruments or revolvers -- just feed him a steady diet of rich pastries ... until he is at least fifteen to twenty-five percent overweight! Then sit back and think what a good-looking widow you'll make -- because it won't be long now."

"According to the experts, between seventy and eighty percent more men than women die in their early fifties."

"The worst of it is, they blame us for it!"

"Listen to Dr. Louis Dublin, of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. In an article entitled, 'Stop Killing Your Husband,' published in Lifetime Living, Dr. Dublin says, 'In forty years as the statistician of a large life-insurance company, I have come to the conclusion that many men who die before their time could have been saved if their wives had taken more seriously a wife's responsibility to watch over her man.'" Who thinks that is the woman's responsibillity today?

In the twentieth century our science increased but our humanity decreased. If women had really seen how important the career in the home is and been professional at being a homemaker, then millions of men would have lived a longer and healthier life. This is one of the many ways feminism has caused suffering and death. Women must go back home and do the job God has assigned them instead of being rebellious and thinking that the home is secondary. God had worked to build the family based on proper roles shortly before the Messiah was born in 1920 but Satan won. With the advance of science the home would have been easier and healthier. Instead, America became a nightmare of obesity, heart disease and cancer -- things unheard of in simple villages around the world.

Wives should be feeding simple foods grown organically to their families. Father says we should eat "fresh, healthy foods .... If we want to stay healthy throughout our life span, we need to eat vegetable fresh from the earth. Agricultural chemicals and radiation are killing people." He says we have to live a life that is "simpler." Several times I've read Father mentioning eating raw food. There are a few people out there who think we should be fruitarians and eat only raw fruits, nuts and vegetables. I think that is going to far, but Father is tuned in to God, and we should eat more raw food.

Women are so disconnected to the home that many do not even breast-feed their babies or do so for only a very short time and go back to work. Father criticizes American women for feeding cow's milk to babies: "American women popularly preserve their breasts -- for what, nobody knows. They give their babies cow's milk and bind up their bosoms. With such mothers, where is people's root of love? Where is their attachment? This is serious, dead serious."

Daniel

There is a famous passage from the Bible that teaches against eating rich food. It is a story about Daniel who was forced to work in the King's palace. We read that he did not want to be"contaminated" by the royal court. He told his superior that he didn't want to eat the rich food everyone ate in palace. This person told him this might make the king angry if Daniel ate differently. Daniel told him to give him and the other Israelites in the palace a chance to prove he was right. He said," 'Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.' So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days."

"At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead" (Daniel 1:12-16).

Drink distilled water

Mrs. Sung Bok Hsu has had a number of good articles on health in the UNews. One of them was very good on water (March 1996). She recommended drinking and cooking with distilled water. She correctly says that we don't have to worry about getting minerals from water because they are best gotten from plants. The best way to get this water is to buy a water distillation machine. There are usually ads for them from companies that manufacture them and distributors in Mother Earth News magazine. Every home should have one. The whole topic of water is a vast one and I can't get into it now.

Father loves technology and organic food

In the ideal world people will not have to work as hard as we do to be financially successful. Father explains: "With improved social and political systems, people will not have to work so hard in the future; machines will do the job." They will "need to work only a few hours." What will they do with all that free time? They will "spend more time traveling, sightseeing and doing good deeds." Father is in love with technology. He sees that things are spiritual too. He constantly talks about computers and how education is being revolutionized by cable television. Father is practical and earthy. He doesn't just focus on ideology and the mind. He is down to earth. For example, he says we should eat "fresh, healthy foods .... If we want to stay healthy throughout our life span, we need to eat vegetable fresh from the earth. Agricultural chemicals and radiation are killing people." So be a good Unificationist and eat your organic vegetables that you bought from the liberal environmentalists who run the co-op or eat what you raised in your organic garden. I hope those who buy food for True Parents buy organic food and keep True Parents from eating fatty foods. Robert Schuller, America's longest running preacher on TV, mentions in his sermons that he does not eat fatty foods. If we are going to be superior to him we have to eat not only low-fat food, but organic low-fat as well.

Cars with safety beams

There are many areas about the physical world to write about but I want to end with an aspect of safety that I hope the world will adopt. Satan's tactic is to create an unsafe world. Safety is from God. One of the main ways Satan has killed and maimed people is through automobile accidents. We are all touched by the tragedy of fallen men who engineer these deathtraps. Father's son died in a car. Many race car drivers have survived worse accidents than Hyung Jin's. All race cars have beams throughout the interior to protect the driver if he is hit. The average car has practically no protection if hit. I knew a man who was a scout leader for my boys. He had taken some of the boys in his troop in his van to a scout function. He was traveling down the interstate and for some reason a woman crossed over the grassy area and hit him in front. He was killed instantly and the rest were hurt. I believe he probably would have lived if there had been a simple protective beam in the front of his vehicle. I'm not advocating beams or metal bars that look like those in race cars which are so obvious and simple that the drivers have to enter through a window that has no glass. Beams can be welded throughout that don't get in the way but will keep the passengers safe in a protective cage. I hope when we build our Panda car we will have 100 times the protection than the Volvo has. I'm not holding my breath. Ask someone what they would think if you told them to weld beams inside their cars for protection. They would say you are extreme. It wouldn't be pretty. It would be focusing on death and negativity. Our houses have air pollution and dangerous chemicals. Everything fallen man does is insanity. That's why they killed one messiah and tried to kill the other.

Absolutes are difficult for people. God's standard seems ridiculous or too high. Part of me thinks that what I write will take a hundred years to be believed and lived. Sometimes I think it will take a millennium. Then there are times I get more optimistic because I see the Berlin Wall come down or commercials for low-fat foods from big business. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what you think of this book. Even if you disagree I need to know why so I can either figure out how to explain it better or change if you have a good argument. After reading about a zillion books I think I've heard every argument there is, but it's a big world and I'm open to hearing more. Write and let me know what you think on these issues or others that I don't touch on. The truth means everything to me. Jesus said the truth sets us free. I agree. I want to be free of Satan. I want to teach my children values that will set them free. I want America to be free. I want God to rule and live on this earth. If you think you know how to do that or know a book that can help me and others, for God's sake let me now.
